Hapi

MCP server · Local

Connect your AI assistant to Hapi.

Hapi includes an MCP server, so the AI assistants on your Mac — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any app that speaks the Model Context Protocol — can search your meetings, notes, people, and action items.

Private by design

  • The server runs on your Mac and reads your Hapi library there.
  • Hapi uploads nothing. Your assistant only sees what its tools return.
  • Email bodies and private notes stay hidden unless you opt in.

How to connect

Claude Code and Claude Desktop

In Hapi, open Settings → Integrations → Claude Code and click Connect. Hapi installs the server and registers it with the assistants it finds on your Mac.

Any other MCP app

Copy the config from Settings → Integrations → AI assistants (MCP) and paste it into your app's MCP settings. It looks like this — copy it from Hapi so the paths match your Mac:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "hapi": {
      "command": "/opt/homebrew/bin/node",
      "args": [
        "/Users/you/Library/Application Support/com.hapi.transcription/mcp/dist/index.js"
      ]
    }
  }
}

Requires Node 22.13 or later.
